The Key Categories for application are;
- Basic and Translational research: Ideas related to Stem Cell and Regenerative Therapy, Genetic and tissue engineering, Well Ageing, Medical diagnostics.
- AI APPs and software: Ideas related to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Big Data Analysis, AI APP and software development, self-monitor digital devices/gadgets development consumer healthcare (skin, hair, eyecare), Nano Technology, Robotics.
- Consumer Healthcare: Ideas related to development and application of health supplements, skincare, haircare or eyecare products.
- Environment and sustainability
Any other fields of techniques are also welcome for application.
Eligibility: PhD students and PhD holders from Academia and industries
Submission deadline EXTENDED:31st December 2023 09th February, 2024
The shortlisted applicants will be further invited for an interview.

- 1st Runner up: HKD 30,000
- 2nd Runner up HKD 15,000
Special awards
- Mentholatum’s most innovative Award on Consumer Healthcare (skincare, haircare, eyecare & supplements): HKD 25,000
- Young Talent award for young PhD students: HKD 5,000
